That's OK.
What surprised me is the level of hostility and toxicity from an audience that is supposed be for #community and #Solarpunk .
It seems to me that the level of toxicity here trumps even Twitter.
It might be that the fate of humanity is doomed to create a #cyberpunk instead of #Solarpunk
Please could anyone with a #Kobo #Nia (#KoboNia) and/or #RightToRepair #RetroTech type folks point me in the direction of a valid image? Mine's borked amd I need #community #help! Thanks you

Having a clear-out and realised that I’ve got 7Kg of white and 5Kg of transparent PETG where the spools are too large for my drying set-up (spools are 20cm diameter, 90mm wide). All but one are still in original vacuum packaging.
Looking for a school, college, charity or community 3D printing group that I can donate this to in Cornwall. Anyone local please reply with suggestions. Anyone representing one of the above, DM me.
Everyone’s path to FreeBSD is a little different.
Maybe it started with curiosity, a challenge, or the search for something stable and open.
We’d love to hear your story, what brought you to FreeBSD, and what keeps you here?
Your experiences help inspire others and highlight the many ways FreeBSD continues to grow through its community.
Introducing the FreeBSD Meetings YouTube Channel!

Special thanks to Orlin Vasilev for the kind words. you truly made my week and can’t end this without thanking Vadim Bauer your support means a lot.
Let’s take a moment to appreciate the people who’ve helped us, supported us, or simply believed in us along the way.
Because that’s what makes this community so special.
Me wearing a home screen-printed #anarchy patch from a queer indie artist while fully masking and being extremely polite and patient to the sole woman looking after the entire platform of passengers waiting for our delayed #Amtrak is the most #revolutionary thing I did today.
Remember folks, the #resistance is won through #community
"Water is the limiting factor for all farming, for all our food. One can restore degraded soil but without enough water, no life can survive on it...Water is becoming ‘the’ challenge to food security—there is too much, it is badly degraded, or there is not enough."

Missed @ben's keynote at this year's @fediforum? Here's the full transcript. "The opportunity right now isn't to build a better Twitter or to provide a nice place for people who care about Linux to chat: it's to build infrastructure that vulnerable people can actually use to organize, to communicate safely, and to build community. But we can only do that if we're building with those communities from day one, not building for them based on our assumptions about what they need."
In this FreeBSD Journal article, Vanja Cvelbar combines FreeBSD, Home Assistant, and rtl_433 to build a smart home weather & sensor integration system.
It’s a great example of how FreeBSD supports real-world embedded and automation use cases.
