Changing your GitHub username: how painful is it on a scale from 1 to 10? (Account is from 2008, almost daily activity in many different repos and projects.)
@raucao I recently changed my GitHub username, it was quite okish. But I don't use it heavily and have very little contributions. Pro tip: create a new account using your old username after changing it. So, all old repository names will work in the future (redirects). If someone else registers your old username and reuses repo names, the redirects break :)
@raucao I'd say about a 2, from what I remember. I don't recall having any issues. Old links to repos will still work.
