Turns out that good cycling fitness doesn't translate at all to running. Just wanted to get my heart pumping a bit, and now some of my thigh muscles are close to being non-functional, after not even 5km of slow jogging: strava.com/activities/18315230

@raucao I found that too when I switched from cycling to running.

Not only are you using different muscles, but running is so much more intense, it feels like you have to start training your fitness all over again.
