@alcinnz You can implement it like that, of course. But even when just using the search, FB will be able to track both your search, and the subsequent fetch of the full-size image.
@raucao They'd see your traffic sure (unless you're copy-pasting from another site where encountered the gif), but at least they won't also see your site's visitors.

Can't we put the Gifs on the same server we're referencing them from? Or is it just another workaround for needless hosting constraints?
